ERPNext Functional Consultant (On-site)Location: Mumbai, on-site at client locationExperience: 2-5 yearsEmployment type: Full-timeAbout the roleWe are looking for an ERPNext Functional Consultant to work on-site with our client and own the functional side of their ERPNext implementation. You will sit with business users every day, understand how they actually work, and set up ERPNext so that it fits their process without unnecessary customization.This is a hands-on role. You will run requirement discussions, configure the system, prepare masters and data imports, test, train users and stay through go-live and support. You should know ERPNext well enough to say when standard features will do the job and when a customization is really needed.What you will doUnderstand the client's current processes across accounts, purchase, sales, inventory, manufacturing and HR, and map them to ERPNextRun requirement workshops and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, gap analysis and functional specsSet up companies, chart of accounts, cost centers, warehouses, item groups, taxes and other mastersConfigure ERPNext using standard features: Customize Form, custom fields, workflows, role permissions, naming series and notificationsDesign print formats, simple reports and dashboards, and work with Frappe developers on custom DocTypes, scripts and integrationsPrepare and clean master and opening data, and load it through the Data Import toolSet up GST and other Indian statutory requirements, including e-invoicing and e-way bill where applicablePrepare test scenarios, run testing and support users through UATTrain key users and end users, and prepare simple user manualsSupport go-live, period closing, and the support tickets that come after itKeep the project manager updated on progress, risks and open issuesWhat we are looking for2-5 years of experience as an ERPNext functional consultantAt least 2 full-cycle ERPNext implementations from requirement gathering through go-liveStrong working knowledge of Accounting, Buying, Selling and Stock modules. Manufacturing or HRMS experience is a plusGood understanding of the business processes behind these modules, not only the screensHands-on with Customize Form, workflows, permissions, print formats and Data ImportWorking knowledge of Indian GST and how it is handled in ERPNextAble to write clear requirements that a Frappe developer can work from without repeated follow-upsComfortable speaking with everyone from store and accounts staff to business ownersGood written and spoken English.
